coryrove.com is an independent, reader-supported site. It collects as little about you as it can get away with: anonymous page analytics, the accounts you create on purpose, and — only if you accept the cookie banner — advertising cookies. No personal data is sold.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insightsto count page views and measure page performance. These are privacy-friendly: they do not set cross-site tracking cookies and do not build a profile of you across the web. Aggregated data (pages visited, country, device type, load times) is processed by Vercel Inc. as the site's hosting provider.

The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads load only after you accept the cookie banner — if you decline (or never answer), the Google ad script is never loaded and no advertising cookies are set. Ads are also never loaded on sports-prediction or tips pages.

When ads are enabled, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, measure them, and — where you have allowed it in your Google settings — personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising:

Visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland:before ads are enabled for those regions, this site will use a Google-certified consent management platform (such as Google's Privacy & messaging) to collect consent, and Auto ads will be excluded from the sports-prediction and tips pages in the AdSense settings. Until then, the banner above applies.

• Consent choice— your accept/decline answer to the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) and never leaves your device.
• Authentication— if you create an account or log in, Clerk (the site's auth provider) sets strictly-necessary session cookies.
• Advertising — Google AdSense cookies, only after you accept (see above).

Card donations and purchases are processed by Stripe; crypto donations by Coinbase Commerce. Your card details go directly to the payment processor — this site never sees or stores them. Stripe may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored to send you the updates you asked for and nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, personal data is processed on these legal bases: consent for advertising cookies (you can withdraw it any time with the button above), legitimate interest for cookieless, aggregated analytics, and contract or legal obligation for processing donations and purchases (payment, fraud-prevention, and accounting records).

Retention: data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for — analytics is aggregated and not tied to you, account data lasts until you delete your account, newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, and payment records as long as accounting law requires.

International transfers:the site's service providers (Vercel, Google, Clerk, Stripe, Coinbase) are US companies, so data may be processed in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard where applicable.

Your rights: you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent — use the contact page below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
